Here is how a Vantage Moving job runs, start to finish. Your signed estimate and service agreement are the final word; this page is a plain-language summary.
- Arrival and walk-through. Your crew lead walks the home with you. If the items or conditions are different from your estimate, the crew lead explains any change before work continues.
- Protection. We pad and wrap furniture and protect floors and doorways where needed.
- Loading. Our own crew and truck, every time. Your move is exclusive use: your belongings are the only ones on the truck.
- Stay on site. You or an adult you authorize needs to be present for the whole move, at pickup and delivery, so you can answer questions and inspect.
- Delivery and setup. We place furniture where you want it and reassemble what we took apart.
- Final walk-through. Before the crew leaves, walk the home with the crew lead, check the empty truck, and note any damage on the paperwork before you sign.
- Payment. Local moves: payment is due at completion, before the crew leaves. Moves outside the local area: payment is due at the destination before unloading begins. See Payments.
If something goes wrong
- Report damage within 15 calendar days of your move.
- Interstate moves follow federal rules as well. See interstate claims.
